Nov 9 - Will Humble talks at HSGP in Mesa???

I just talked to one of the people involved with HSGP and they told me that Will Humble will be speaking at the HSGP meeting on Sunday Nov 9 at 10 a.m.

They didn't give me the title of his talk, so I don't know if it's related to Prop 203 which is Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act.

The HSGP meetings are free and open to the public. If you want to eat breakfast they charge $5 for a buffet breakfast.

I didn't see Kathy at last night's NORML meeting.

I think the guy who replaced her said NORML will be changing it's course of direction.

He said that while marijuana is now legal in Washington State, it is still a FELONY to possess over some set amount of marijuana. He went on to point out several other cases where despite marijuana being legal they still were putting people in prison for possessing too much marijuana or growing marijuana.

I addressed the same issues at the Phoenix NORML meeting the night before and said it was stupid to legalize marijuana for recreational use, but continue to throw people in prison if they grew say more than 6 marijuana plants or possess more than some set limit of say 1.000 ounces of marijuana.

Michael Weisner, Mike Weisner, Mikel Wiesner or whatever his name is seemed to write me off as some nut job who wanted to much when he addressed my comments.

No Compromise issues on legalizing marijuana

First there should not be any limit on the amount of marijuana you are allowed to possess.

Second people should be allowed to grow their own marijuana. And there shouldn’t be any limit on the number of plants you are allowed to grow.

Protect dispensary monopoly on growing & selling marijuana???

The medical marijuana dispensaries seem to want to have these limits to allow them to use the police to protect their monopoly on growing and selling marijuana.

Weight limits on possessing marijuana

From the view point of the medical marijuana dispensaries the limit of 2.5 ounces of marijuana medical marijuana patients in Arizona are allowed to possess can be seen as a way for them to put anybody that wants to compete with them on selling marijuana out of business.

If you have more than 2.5 ounces of pot, a medical marijuana dispensary can consider you a competitor that is competing with them and selling marijuana. That same medical marijuana dispensary can then call the cops on you who will arrest you for having more than 2.5 ounces of marijuana and effectively put you out of business by jailing you.

Plant limits on growing marijuana

From the view point of the medical marijuana dispensaries the limit of allowing medical marijuana patients to grow only 12 marijuana plants can be seen as a way for them to put anybody that wants to compete with them on growing marijuana out of business.

If you have more than 12 marijuana plants, a medical marijuana dispensary can consider you a competitor that is competing with them and growing marijuana, which you will eventually be resold. That same medical marijuana dispensary can then call the cops on you who will arrest you for having more than 12 marijuana and effectively put you out of business by jailing you.

Is voting insanity???

Year in and year out we go to the polls to vote for our elected officials hoping to throw out the last batch of corrupt incompetent morons and replace them with honest, competent elected officials who will make our city, county and state governments better.

I was sitting next to two military people who were both dressed up in their camouflage military outfits. I suspect they were ROTC students because they got off the train at the Phoenix ASU campus.

The thing I noticed about them was that instead of having the old ugly black combat boots the military folks wore when they were murdering people in Vietnam, they were wearing these really nice suede tan boots that looked like a new version of combat boots to make you feel proud while you were murdering woman and children in Iraq and Afghanistan.

While I disagree with the American foreign policy that almost certainly has murdered hundreds of thousands, if not millions of innocent civilians in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and a whole slew of other third world countries I sure would like to get a pair of those cool looking military boots.

Reefer Madness - I saw it again

This is the second time I saw the movie. I didn't remember a thing about the movie from the first time I saw it.

Of course the first time I saw it was years ago when I was a 16 year old kid in high school and the showed it us to teach us about the dangers of marijuana, or marihuana as it was spelled in the movie.

I suspect I was bored sh*tless when they forced us to watch it in high school. Hell, I was pretty bored when I watched the movie this time.

The first lie I noticed in the movie was that they said marijuana was an addictive drug.

Oddly that lie is still being told almost 75 years later the Feds made marijuana illegal.

On the Arizona Medical Marijuana cards they clearly state the marijuana is an addictive drug. What rubbish.

I researched that and they have used some pretty questionable definitions of "addictive" to make that statement on the Arizona Medical Marijuana cards.

First they say that only 10 percent of the people who are heavy users of marijuana get "addicted". If that's true then I guess marijuana isn't addictive in the same sense that heroin is, where I suspect that 100 percent of the heavy users get addictive. But I am sure that our government masters who make this propaganda want you to think that marijuana is just as addictive as heroin or tobacco.

Second their definition of withdrawal symptoms is trivial things like headaches, trouble sleeping, and anxiety. Trivial stuff compared to what real addicts who are addicted to heroin or tobacco get when they stop using their drug of choice.

While I have never been addicted to opiate drugs, I have read articles that said that the withdrawal symptoms from heroin are just as bad as those of tobacco. I was a tobacco addict and it was hell quitting cigarettes. I was a 3 and a half pack a day nicotine addict.

No shoplifting police officers this month

In both of the cases the cops went into a store and grabbed fountain drinks and left without paying for the drinks.

I didn't witness that either this Tuesday or Wed when I witnessed these police crimes before.

Sunday, Sept 7 - Got bit by a spider again

Just now the welt is gone or I can't find it, so I guess the spider bite wasn't that bad. When I got bit, it hurt a lot and I was worried it might be the bite of a baby or small black widow.

Monday, Sept 8 - Rain finally comes

I was hoping the weather forcasters were on drugs and made the whole thing up. But in my mind I suspect the storm was a slow moving storm that took longer to get here then they expected. Actually it's not a store, but the remains of a hurricane.

I woke up at about 2 a.m. when it started raining. I slept until about 2:30 a.m. when the rain became really heavy.

I got totally soaked!!!! There was heavy flooding everywhere.

Despite being soaked I didn't freeze to death. It's still rather warm here. I think the high for today is predicted to be only in the 90's which is on the low side for this time of year in Phoenix.

I walked thru some desert washes and city streets that had turned into rivers. And the current was very strong in all of them. I almost lost my footing once and nearly fell in

I went to a gas station and hung out there for maybe an hour.

I left when some cops show up. I was afraid they would harass me so I left. It's kind of sad when you are more afraid of the police then you are of the lightning.

The people at the gas station know me because I buy stuff almost every day. So I didn't figure they would complain about me to the cops. But I figured the cops might just terrorize me because cops love terrorizing people.

I heard it rained 3 inches at Sky Harbor Airport on the news. They said the old record was 2.2 inches. I was told it rained 5 inches in Chandler. And Alma School Road was like a river. The article in the Arizona Republic said it rained 2 inches at Sky Harbor, which conflices with what I heard on the news. The Republic article did say the 2 inches was a record. Later articles confirm the 3+ inches of rain at Sky Harbor Airport and say it hit 3.29 inches!!!

If your from the East Coast that may not sound like much but in Phoenix we only get 7 inches of rain a year. In the West Valley we get about 5 inches. The East Valley gets about 10 inches with the average being 7 inches at Sky Harbor Airport in central Phoenix.

Tuesday, Sept 9 - Notes on yesterday's storm

The road that I take back to the city was literally covered and blocked with gravel and rocks the storm washed up on it. I suspect some of it has been damaged too, but it was too dark to see if that was true. I could have easily been washed away if I hung around.

A canal which I walk along on my way back to the city had parts of it's concrete banks damaged by the storm.

The sticks in my camp that I keep to protect me from being attacked by animals and possibly people were washed away.

On my way to Chandler I noticed that the Western Canal was almost full with water maybe 6 inches from the tops of it's bank. That canal even when it is being used only has maybe 6 inches to a foot of water in it.

The canal I take my baths in had it's water level increased by at least 6 inches to a foot by the wet water marks on the canal. I suspect it was much higher, but the higher water marks had dried. I saw that last night when I was walking back to the desert.

I suspect underpass on Country Club where the railroad tracks are was flooded with water yesterday.

I wonder if Scott Henderson is telling everybody bad things about he. The AI guy didn't say much. I also saw those old hippies I always used to see on Mill & University protesting the war.

Thur - Sept 11 - Flood damage

It looked like the whole building had been flooded and they were using sump pumps to suck the water out. It was a rather large building and it was night and because the lights were on I could see inside the building.

It looked like the flood wiped out their power too. They had a rather large generator on a trailer running which I suspect was powering the machines and lights in the building.

It was night when I went by so it looks like they are working 24/7 to clean up the place. Yesterday when I went by it also looked like they were working at night. There were a bunch of semi-trucks in the area.

This was in the area of the canal and road that had been wiped out by the flood.

Oddly the road was totally fixed. And even the canal was totally fixed. I figured it would talk them a couple of days to fix the road and a week or two to fix the canal.

The canal was one of those V type ditches. They actually had replaced the destroyed concrete in the V ditch in 24 hours or less. Again I thought it would take at least a week to get the canal fixed.

Legalizing Marijuana in Arizona

Pardons must be automatic for ALL marijuana convictions and arrests!!!!

Their records should be cleared AUTOMATICALLY of ALL marijuana charges.

When you give a government tyrants the option to do they right thing they are usually NOT going to do it.

Under Prop 203 we let Will Humble add new illnesses to the list of things that medical marijuana can be prescribed or recommended for.

And Will Humble has refused to act in good faith under the law and add new illnesses to the list.

In fact Will Humble has created a Catch 22 that allows him to refuse to add any illnesses to the list.

Will Humble says he can't add any new illness to the list unless their is medical research proving that marijuana is effective in treating the illness.

And the Catch 22 in that is for all practical purposes the DEA forbids any medical research that might prove marijuana is effective in treating an illness.

Which means no illnesses will every meet Will Humble's criteria for adding them to the list.

I about fainted when the Arizona Republic ran an article that said Will Humble approved PSTD as an illness that can be treated by medical marijuana.

But when I read an article in the July 2014 medical marijuana newsletter published by the Arizona Department of Health Services it said that Will Humble was more or less FORCED by a judge to approve PSTD for treatment by medical marijuana.

Bottom line is if you give the government the option of pardoning people for marijuana convictions they probably won't do it. Just like Will Humble has refused to add any new illnesses to the list treatable by medical marijuana.

If you want people to be pardoned for marijuana convictions and their records cleared for marijuana arrests you have to ORDER them to do it. Not ask them to do it.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema is pretty unpopular in Arizona because of her attempt to slap a 300% tax on medical marijuana.

That 300% tax would have added a $900 tax on medical marijuana which costs about $300 an ounce bringing the cost of an ounce of medical marijuana at dispsenaries in Arizona to $1,200 and ounce.

That tax would have bankrupted many people in Arizona who are medical marijuana patients.

Arizona State University Police get 70 M-16 machine guns

If you ask me it sounds like ASU President Michael M. Crow is more concerned with protecting the ASU police from the students, then protecting the people that visit the ASU campus from criminals.

Under Arizona law, government colleges are allowed to flush the 2nd Amendment down the toilet and ban weapons from their campuses. Last time I checked all of the Arizona universities have banned weapons from their campuses along with all the the Maricopa County Community Colleges.

Note the article doesn't say the M-16 guns are fully automatic, but I assumed it. I kind of doubt that the military would do the equivalent of a lobotomy on an M-16 machine gun and convert it to a non-automatic weapon!!!!

Hell for that matter on Sunday when the restaurant doesn't open till 7 I usually save the newspaper because I am done reading it long before 7am and bring the newspaper I have already read in and leave it there so the homeless people can read it and the restaurant workers can grab the ads.

Today the restaurant was closed due to a power failure so I took the newspaper with me on the bus.

Some guy on the bus asked me for my newspaper and I told him he couldn't have it until I was finished reading it.

The guy was a real jerk and go angry because I wouldn't let him read it before I was finished with it.

Him and his pal who also got angry seemed to be construction workers. I wonder were they unionized construction workers who think the world owes them a living???

The crime would have been indecent exposure, which does require you to register with the government as a sex offender for the rest of your life.

A friend of mine had been bar hopping in Scottsdale and after the bars closed they took a leak outside the bar and got caught.

He ended up taking a plea bargain to a lesser charge because if he had been convicted for p*ssing in an alley or indecent exposure he would have been a sex offender and required to register with the government for the rest of his life.

And if this initiative which is sponsored by MPP or the Marijuana Policy Project is passed it certainly seems that they will get that monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana in Arizona.

That will make Andrew Myers and the folks at his Arizona Dispensary Association or Arizona Association of Dispensaries happy as a pig in mud.

Of course the rest of us will be pretty angry because we will have to pay $300+ an ounce prices for legal marijuana that wouldn't cost more then $3 a pound if the dispensaries didn't get that monopoly.

They always all howl together. You hear them all howling at the same time. And there is a whole slew of them and when they howl the howls come from all directions.

I have no idea why they are howling.

The don't do this all the time, and I rarely hear them howl like this.

Sat Sept 26 - Morning - Got rained on

Since it was almost 4am I just walked out of the desert and went back to the city.

It diedn't rain that long and the heavy rain changed into light rain.

Man it's only September 25 and winter is always ready here.

I wasn't wearing my coat because it was cold. I was wearing it because the weather report said there was a 40 percent chance of rain last night and a 70% chance of rain this morning.

It probably won't get cold till sometime in October when it drops down below 100°F for a final time.

Sat Sept 26 - Afternoon - Got rained on

As I was coming back the storm came. As I was riding my bicycle down the street the rain was so heavy you could barely see 100 feet ahead of you. Needless to say I got soaked. The high today is supposed to be 93, so I didn't really freeze to death.

But the rain was a little bit on the cool side, and at times I was cool.

Usually you hate it when you step in a huge pool of water, or even worse when a car drives by and splashes water all over you because the water is cold. But this time it was OK, because after the rain hit the ground the rain water became warm, and when it touched you it was nice warm water.

In the area I live the wind was very powerful and blew down a whole bunch of trees.

On Priest, there was even a street light that was blown down. I don't know if the wind hit it or if a car crashed into it and knocked it down.

There was a Tempe Police car parked in front of the street light to keep people from running into it. I would much rather have cops do menial work like that then to have them arrest people for victimless drug war crimes.

If you ask me Barry Hess is really a Republican who has a few Libertarian leanings and because of that he thinks he is a Libertarian.

Of course it's a lot easier for Barry Hess to run for governor as a Libertarian because he only needs to get a lousy 200 or so signatures instead of the 5,000 or so it would take to run for governor as a Republican or Democrat. How on earth can Ernest Hancock support a guy like this who claims to be a Libertarian????

Also there was some jerk following me around on a bicycle when I got to the city Sunday morning.

I don't know if he wanted to rob me or beat me up. He approacehed me twice, but each time I ran off.

On Friday I also saw a jerk on a bicycle. But he didn't follow me around.

On friday the guy wa riding a stingray bicycle. Today he was riding a full size bicycle. I didn't get close enought to him to see the type of bicycle today.

I would be terrified to report a murder to the police because they would probably attempt to blame it on me if I did report the murder.

2) The law requiring taxi drivers to take drug tests. Despite Prop 203 which says in ARS 36-2802 that medical marijuana patients can't be busted for DUI because of marijuana metabolites in their system, the cops are arresting medical marijuana patients for DUI per ARS 28-1381

But Prop 203 which is Arizona's medical marijuana law in ARS 36-2802.D, clearly says if you are a medical marijuana patient you can not be arrested for DUI because you have marijuana metabolites in you body:

ARS 36-2802.D Operating, navigating or being in actual physical control of any motor vehicle, aircraft or motorboat while under the influence of marijuana, except that a registered qualifying patient shall not be considered to be under the influence of marijuana solely because of the presence of metabolites or components of marijuana that appear in insufficient concentration to cause impairment.

3) Law that limits light rail fare to 5 cents or is that 25 cents or a quarter.

Where was that photos shot at????

Most modern cell phones will allow you to record the location of any photos you shoot by embedding meta tags which contain the GPS location the photo was shot in the photo's files.

Will some people, like those phony baloney libertarians, David, Ernie and Mike will accuse me of giving this information to the cops, I am sure the cops already have this information and know how to extract the GPS information from you photos.

A few months back software billionaire John McAfee made the news on this issue when he was a fugitive and was releasing photos to the media.

Some hacker took the photos and extracted the GPS information and determined that John McAfee was lying about the location he claimed the photos were shot at.
