A "faggot" is a bundle of sticks???

The word faggot then evolved with the help of the Christians to be an insulting word that means a gay person or a homosexual.

The English word "faggot" means a bundle of sticks.

Back in the days when Europe was ruled by the Catholic Church, being gay or homosexual was a capital crime punishable by death.

People convicted of the crime of being gay were burnt at the stake, by those kind loving Christians.

After the victim was tied to a stake, a bundle of sticks, or a "faggot" was thrown on the persons feet and legs to help start the victim on fire.

And that is the origion of how the English word "faggot" which means a bundle of sticks was used as a slang word for gay people.

You may have also seen old English movies where a person uses the slang word "fag" to ask for a cigarette.

I beleive that the slang word "fag" for a cigarette is also dervived from the word "faggot" which orginally meant a bundle of sticks.

Arizona DUI implied consent law unconstitutional

No DUI charges for marijuana metabolites in Arizona

Despite the fact that Prop 203 specicaly says a medical marijuana patient can't be arrested for DUI because they have marijuana metabolites in their body, the police not wanting to end the "War on Drugs", which is really a "jobs program for cops" have continued to arrest medical marijuana patients for DUI when there is no evidence whatsoever that they are driving stoned, solely because they have marijuana metabolites in their body.

According to this article the Arizona Supreme Court says those arrestes are unconstitutional and that the police must stop arresting medical marijuana patients for DUI simply because they have marijuana metabolites in their bodies.

James Wood - Atheist running for Congress

I will usually vote for an atheist any day of the year over a religious person, because I know they won't be passing laws forcing their religion on me.

A couple of months ago I sent James Woods a message on Facebook asking for his position on the "War on Drugs" and on legalizing marijuana. I was kind of p*ssed because he never responded to my message.

I also think that James Woods is against the Second Amendment and wants to take our guns away from use.

He mentioned something along those lines at either a Phoenix Freedom From Religion Foundation meeting or a Phoenix Americans United for Separation of Church and State meeting.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema is the only other atheist I know in govenrment.

I am not too happy with her either because when she was a member of the Arizona legislator she tried to flush Prop 203 or Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act down the toilet by slapping a 300% tax on medical marijuana. That attempt failed.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema says she supports decriminalizing marijuana, but I think she is lying because of the tax she tried to slap on medical marijuana.

I used to know U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema when she was an anti-war activist, but it looks like she has sold out the cause since she got elected. While she talks like she supports the little guy she consistently votes to support the police state and military industrial complex.

U.S. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema is also a big time gun grabber who would love to flush the 2nd Amendment down the toilet.

November 2 - It's starting to get cold

So winter has been here for a week or maybe two weeks and it's already starting to get cold.

When I go to bed at night I have been wearing two sweatshirts and a light coat.

It's starting to get cold in the day time too. I suspect that either this week or next week I will stop wearing shorts in the day time and switch to long pants.

I hate cold weather.

Oh well, summer will be back in 6 months when April comes and it starts hitting 100°F again.

Legalizing drugs vs Decriminalizing drugs

I have always considered legalizing drugs a much stronger position then decriminalizing drugs. I think this article agrees with that position.

Here in Arizona we have a guy named Barry Hess who runs for Arizona Governor every four years as a Libertarian. Sadly in my view Barry Hess is not a Libertarian at all, but a Republican with a few Libertarian positions.

Barry Hess's position on the drug war doesn't reflect the Libertarian platform that says ALL drugs should be re-legalized.

Barry Hess's position as I understand it is that drugs should be decriminalized, not legalized.

A number of Barry Hess's followers have said that Barry Hess's position of decriminalizing drugs is actually stronger then totally legalizing drugs.

I disagree with that.

Federal Drug Laws

The "War on Drugs" started out at the Federal level with the 1914 Harrison Narcotic Tax Act which made drugs like heroin and cocaine illegal.

A little over 20 years later the Federal government started it's war on marijuana with the 1937 Marihuana Tax Act which more or less made marijuana illegal.

At the end of the 1960's, I think in 1968 or 1969 when Timothy Leary was arrested and put on trial both of those laws were declared unconstitutional.

I believe in 1970, the 1970 Controlled Substances Act replaced both the 1914 Harrison Narcotic Tax Act and the 1937 Marihuana Tax Act.

Many legal scholars will tell you that per the 10th Amendment the entire Federal "War on Drugs" is unconstitutional.

But don't wait for the Supreme Court to agree with them.

Sat - Nov 8 - Almost attacked by 2 dogs???

The first dog I saw was a big black dog that was following around a dark SUV.

I saw the SUV down the street with it's lights on and though that it might be a cop that was going to harass me.

It looked like the people that owned the SUV also owned the dog.

Then a large white dog came out. The white dog barked at me.

In the whole time period the SUV drove by several times and it looked like the SUV was somehow involved with the dogs.

Will Humble Talks at HSGP meeting in Mesa

If you haven't heard the word "humanist", it's just a sugar coated word for atheist. For some reason many atheists don't like the world "atheist" and would prefer to call themselves "humanists".

I am not one of them. I prefer the word "atheist" because everybody knows what it means.

I don't believe in God, because I don't see any evidence to support the existence of God. And I certainly am not ashamed of that.

I was going to ask a question like

"Almost all of the people here are atheists and we believe that the way to solve the worlds problems is by using science, logic and reason, not superstition and myth as religious people do.

Most of the people here know that heroin is an addictive drug, while marijuana is not addictive at all.

How come the Arizona Department of Health Services is telling people the lie on medical marijuana cars it issues that marijuana is an addictive drug, just like heroin?

Towards the end of the meeting Will Humble got pretty angry when he was talking about how the US government used a bunch of doctors telling lies about how they were vaccinating people against polio to hunt down bin Laden.

Will Humble said these lies set the medical community back by years.

I figured now was the time to ask my question. Because Will Humble and the folks at his Arizona Department of Health Services are doing the exact same thing when they spread lies that marijuana is an addictive drug like heroin.

But by then time had run out and I didn't get to answer my question.

Over all I thought Will Humble's talk was pretty good, despite the fact that I hate him because of how he has screwed over the medical marijuana community.

From his talk Will Humble seemed like a socialist who was pushing big government. And of course he as a vested interest in that because his job is running the Arizona Department of Health Services.

One thing that pissed me off was Will Humble said a number of times that everybody has a "social contract" to get their vaccinations.

I am sure that would have ticked off any other Libertarians in the room too.

My question is just when did I sign this "social contract", and how much was I paid to sign it when I agreed to get these vaccinations.

I bet that the van or bus from the Chandler Christian Community Center is used every week end and returned to the parking lot sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m.

Microsoft opens new store at Chandler Fashion Center

Shoppers at the Chandler Fashion Center now have a new place to shop for high-tech items with the opening of the Microsoft Store last week.

Chandler’s Microsoft Store, which opened on Nov. 14, is the third in the state following a specialty store in Tucson and the technology giant’s very first location at Scottsdale Fashion Square that opened in 2009. Jonathan Adashek, the general manager of communications strategy for Microsoft retail stores, said in an email the fact the first store opened in the area gives Microsoft a “special affinity” for the Valley.

The Chandler location also marks the 109th Microsoft Store to open in the country.

While the size at the Chandler Fashion Center location is smaller than the one in Scottsdale, store manager Joe Solomon said the difference for shoppers won’t be all that different than at the original location.

“It’s designed to go into every store and get the same experience,” he said.

That means shoppers will find the same Microsoft products from one store to another, which Adashek said will include Windows 8 PCs, Surface Pro 3s, phones, tablets, laptops and Xbox One consoles and games. The store can also offer repairs and other assistance for Microsoft customers.

Solomon said Microsoft opted to open at Chandler Fashion Center due to interest from customers and the surrounding community. The latter component is tied to what Solomon said was a family-driven market that offers a different clientele than the tourist-driven clientele at the Scottsdale branch.

“This is where customers asked us to be,” he said.

He also anticipates it to be a busy location due to the mall locale that offers a steady stream of foot traffic. The timing works quite well in his favor as well, as the store opened approximately two weeks before Thanksgiving and the start of the holiday shopping season. Solomon said the timing was unintentional on Microsoft’s part, but said it should serve as a good opportunity for the store and its sales.

The weekend opening event kicked off with a sale on Friday that included a few deals on items and the chance to win tickets to see Grammy Award-winning musicians Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, who are best known for their album “The Heist” and songs like “Thrift Shop,” “Can’t Hold Us,” and “Same Love.” They performed in the mall’s parking lot the following day.

Another aspect of the opening was a collection of grants tallying just shy of $2 million given by Microsoft to Southwest Human Development, Crisis Nursery and Arizona Science Center.

At 7:30 a.m. the bus or van wasn't in the parking lot of the Chandler Fire Department Administration buildig, at 7:50 a.m. the van or bus was there.

Nov 19 - Chandler Christian Community Center Van or Bus

Today, Wednesday, November 19, the bus parked in the lot at 7:30 a.m. when I came here.

On Monday and Tuesday, November 17 & 18, it looked like the van or bus was not parked in the lot, but driven there sometime between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m.

In this case it sure looks like Chandler Councilwoman Trinity Donovan who is also the President or CEO of the Chandler Christian Community Center is doing something illegal and allowing the city government of Chandler, Arizona to mix government and religion.

Pro-Pot Activist Billy Hayes Faces Serious Prison Time

I have seen Billy Hayes talk a few times and he seems to have a pretty good understanding of both Arizona and Federal law, at least as it relates to freedom fighters and the "war on drugs".

Sadly the cops, prosecutors seem to say f*ck the law we are going to do what we want to do. And sadly more often then not the courts let them get away with it.

The only gripe I have with the article is it didn't talk more about Kathy Inman and her son in law Andrew Myers.

Andrew Myers was heavily involved in writing Prop 203 which is Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act. Some people say Andrew Myers wrote Prop 203. Other people say he was the manager of the group that wrote Prop 203. I don't know which if any is correct.

Some people think that Kathy Inman and Andrew Myers wrote Prop 203 to make themselves rich.

I don't know if that is true, but Prop 203 from my view point seems to be written to give the medical marijuana dispensaries a government monopoly on growing and selling medical marijuana. Currently Prop 203 only allows a ridiculously low number of medical marijuana dispensaries. I think the number is 127. I think it's capped at 10% of the number of pharmacies that sell other drugs.

And oddly Andrew Myers is now involved with the Arizona Dispensary Association which seems to want to give their group a government monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana.

Watched a hummingbird feed

It was pretty cool. The birds wings were flapping like crazy.

The bird was also turning it head watching me watch it. I suspect the bird thought I was planning on eating him for breakfast.

Finally it looked like I scared the hummingbird and it flew off.

But strange stuff like this does happen in real life. Here is a story that happened to me when I was a student at Arizona State University in Tempe.

I was taking an advanced FORTRAN class class at ASU long ago when they had an UNIVAC 1110/42 computer. I think the teaches name was Lovell or something like that.

The class had a section on UNIVAC JCL, which is called the EXEC VIII or EXEC 8 control language.

The teacher really didn't understand one of the commands and explained it totally wrong. I think it was the @SYM command which is used to send data to be printed.

I was an advanced computer users and despite the teacher explaining the command wrong I knew how it worked because I used it all the time.

I talked to one of my friends who was also an advanced user and worked at the ASU computer services and we both made fun of the teacher for being a moron.

When it come to test time, I answered the question incorrectly, but as the teacher incorrectly described it in class. The teacher marked my answer as correct.

My friend who worked for computer services answered the question correctly as the command works. The teacher marked my friends answer as incorrect. Despite the fact that his answer was how the command actually works.

When the teacher reviewed the test in class and my friend complained about the teacher marking his correct answer as wrong the teacher gave us a line of BS that my friend should have answered the question wrong as the teacher incorrectly described it in the class.

Monday Nov 24 - Van still parked at Fire Department HQ

I had noticed that some days, usually Mondays, the van was missing from the parking lot when I went by at 7:30 a.m., and then seemed to be driven to the parking log after I went to Circle K to get my chips and coke and was in the lot before 7:50 a.m.

But today I didn't go by till 7:35 a.m. and the van was parked in the lot.

I don't know if it was parked in the lot all weekend or was moved backed sometime beteen 7:30 a.m. and when I went by at 7:35 a.m.

I will put a copy of this in the log records on the Chandler Christian Community Center bus or van.

Monday Nov 24 - I thought the Chandler Police were going to kill me???

Just when I got to the Circle K today a Chandler Police Officer pulled into the Circle K.

I was afraid that the Chandler Police Department was going to murder me or falsely arrest me and frame me for an imaginary crime I didn't commit for complaining when I was falsely arrested about 5 weeks ago on Oct 17, 2014 by Chandler Police Officer Ariel Werther.

Protect and serve my *ss, it's terrorize, rob and torture.

Se tienen registrados castigos que hoy violarían todas las convenciones de Derechos Humanos, pero que antes eran de lo más común.

En ese sentido, también es necesario mencionar que la forma de impartir justicia era radicalmente distinta, pues los juicios que hacían las personas estaban basados en otro tipo de concepciones, como por ejemplo, aquellos que se pensaba que practicaban la magia negra. Según el delito que se cometiera, era la forma en la que se pagarían los pecados.

Rebanados, era como morían estos criminales. De los métodos más utilizados en China, donde las personas eran descuartizadas, pero a través de pequeños cortes, mientras estaban drogados con opio, a fin de que pudieran ver su propia ejecución.

Hoguera

The author says he shot some stuff in the middle of the night at Manhattan Beach without a flash. Cool. (I used to live in Manhattan Beach the last time I lived in Los Angeles)

Back in the old days of real film I usually shot with 1000 or 1600 ISO or ASA film because I don't like using flashes.

This article has some good information even if it is coming from a religious publication.

It's from the December 2013 issue of AWAKE, a publication from the Jehovah Witness religion.

I think AWAKE is like their other magazine the Watchtower.

Of course these folks routinely make one mistake when they publish their religions articles and that is in the area of "false assumptions".

They assume THEIR God exists and that no other Gods exist.

As an atheist I am not going to ASSUME any God exists until I see some evidence the God really exists. And I ain't seen that yet about any Christian or other God.

You are required to report murders to the police

I would be terrified to report a murder to the police because they would probably attempt to blame it on me if I did report the murder.

The same goes for reporting the discovery of a dead body.

If I found a dead body I would be terrified to report it to the police, again because I would be afraid the police would blame the death on me.

2) The law requiring taxi drivers to take drug tests. Despite Prop 203 which says in ARS 36-2802 that medical marijuana patients can't be busted for DUI because of marijuana metabolites in their system, the cops are arresting medical marijuana patients for DUI per ARS 28-1381

But Prop 203 which is Arizona's medical marijuana law in ARS 36-2802.D, clearly says if you are a medical marijuana patient you can not be arrested for DUI because you have marijuana metabolites in you body:

ARS 36-2802.D Operating, navigating or being in actual physical control of any motor vehicle, aircraft or motorboat while under the influence of marijuana, except that a registered qualifying patient shall not be considered to be under the influence of marijuana solely because of the presence of metabolites or components of marijuana that appear in insufficient concentration to cause impairment.

3) Law that limits light rail fare to 5 cents or is that 25 cents or a quarter.

Where was that photos shot at????

Most modern cell phones will allow you to record the location of any photos you shoot by embedding meta tags which contain the GPS location the photo was shot in the photo's files.

Will some people, like those phony baloney libertarians, David, Ernie and Mike will accuse me of giving this information to the cops, I am sure the cops already have this information and know how to extract the GPS information from you photos.

A few months back software billionaire John McAfee made the news on this issue when he was a fugitive and was releasing photos to the media.

Some hacker took the photos and extracted the GPS information and determined that John McAfee was lying about the location he claimed the photos were shot at.
