Did you know that the phoney baloney MPP or Marijuana Policy Project law to legalize marijuana creates a special police force to arrest marijuana users???

The folks who wrote the law for MPP used code words that most people don't know mean the POLICE.

Two of those words are LEO and POST.

LEO mean Law Enforcement Officer or cop.

POST means Police Officer Standards and Training and is an Arizona government agency.

Here are a couple links to the Arizona POST.

Remember folks if you want to legalize marijuana you are going to get SCREWED if you support the MPP initiative or Marijuana Policy Project Initiative.

The right way to legalize marijuana is with the RAD (Relegalize All Drugs) initiative or the AZfmr (Arizonans for Mindful Regulation) initaitive.

Created by an act of the 28th Arizona legislature on July 1, 1968 The Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board stands to foster public trust and confidence by establishing and maintaining standards of integrity, competence, and professionalism for Arizona peace officers and correctional officers. We are committed to producing and maintaining the most professional law enforcement officers in America.

Originally established to address the need for minimum peace officer selection, recruitment, retention and training standards, and to provide curriculum and standards for all certified law enforcement training facilities; the Board has been charged with additional duties since its original 1968 charter. In later years the Board has also been vested with the responsibility of administering the Peace Officer Training Fund, approving a state correctional officer training curriculum and establishing minimum standards for state correctional officers.

Currently the Board provides services to approximately 163 law enforcement agencies encompassing over 14,500 sworn peace officers, 6,500 correctional officers, and 16 police training academies.

Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZ POST)

The Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (AZ POST) establishes rules and regulations governing the conduct of all business coming before the board. It prescribes minimum qualifications for officers appointed to enforce the laws of the state and recommends curricula for advanced courses and seminars for law enforcement training in universities, colleges and junior colleges in conjunction with the governing body of the educational institutions.

AZ POST also determines whether political state subdivisions are adhering to the standards for recruitment and training of law enforcement personnel. It approves a state correctional officer training curriculum and establishes minimum standards for correctional officers.

Moreover, AZ POST approves allocations from the Peace Officers Training Fund to provide law enforcement training and grants to cities and counties for law enforcement training.

AZ POST also provides training and related services to assist state, tribal and local law enforcement agencies to better serve the public.
