Want to hear another crazy "reefer madness" argument against legalization?

Sheila Polk, the Yavapai County Attorney and Vice Chair of Arizonans for Responsible Drug Policy (https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=852602524801197), claims that "In 2013, marijuana use was associated with the deaths of 62 children in Arizona."

Sound a little fishy to you? Her use of this statistic is a classic prohibitionist move, misrepresenting the truth to scare people away from legalization. In truth, "associated" means that marijuana might have been involved, but does not mean that marijuana was the cause of death. And it also does not mean that the child was using marijuana. Considering it's physically impossible to die from marijuana use alone, we can reason that marijuana was not the cause of death for any of these children.

Remember that pot prohibitionists will mislead, lie, and fear-monger as much as possible to prevent cannabis legalization. We're on the side of facts and reason, and we will overcome the lies of people like Sheila Polk!

Please LIKE and SHARE to spread the TRUTH about marijuana!
