MPP has been taken over by the medical marijuana dispensaries???

Here in Arizona a number of us suspect that MPP or Marijuana Policy Project has been taken over by the medical marijuana dispensaries and is being used by them as a tool to pass laws which will give the medical marijuana dispensaries a government monopoly on growing and selling marijuana once it is legalized for recreational use.

Andrew Myers & MPP wrote Prop 203???

I am not sure of the exact details but here in Arizona Andrew Myers and MPP or Marijuana Project Policy both allegedly wrote Prop 203 which is Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act.

And of course when you read thru Prop 203 it looks like a government welfare program for medical marijuana dispensaries, and almost gives them a government monopoly on growing and selling medical marijuana.

And now Andrew Myers is the head of the Arizona Dispensary Association which seems to want to write a proposition which will legalize marijuana in Arizona.

From what Andrew Myers said at the July 2014 Phoenix NORML meeting or Arizona NORML meeting it seems like he wants to write the proposition so that it gives the members of his Arizona Dispensary Association a monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana if it is legalized in Arizona.

MPP effort to legalize in Arizona sucks???

I have included a handout at the bottom of this article which we got from MPP or the Marijuana Policy Project about their effort to legalize recreation marijuana in Arizona and it down right sucks!!!!!

MPP wants to jail people who possess 1.01 or more ounces of marijuana!!!

Oddly if the phoney baloney version of legalized marijuana that MPP wants to pass is successful in Arizona we will continue to put people in prison who are arrested with marijuana.

MPP only wants to make it legal for a person to have only 1.00 ounces of marijuana. Not a milligram more!!!!

Starting in January 2017, adults 21 and over would be able to possess one ounce of marijuana, just like in Colorado and Washington - Marijuana Policy Project

If a person gets caught with 1.01 ounces of marijuana under MPP's phoney baloney version of "legalized marijuana" they will still go to prison. That sucks!!!!!

I suspect the REAL reason limiting the amount of marijuana a person can possess to a measly 1 ounce is to help the marijuana dispensaries jail people who illegally compete with their government monopoly on growing and selling marijuana.

If you have more than 1.0001 ounces of marijuana a dispensary owner can report you to the police, have you arrested and prevent you from competing with the dispensaries marijuana sales.

If we are going to legalize marijuana in Arizona we should stop sending people to prison who have ANY amount of marijuana!!!!

MPP wants to jail people who grown marijuana!!!

At the beginning of the blog I said that we suspect MPP wants to create a government monopoly on growing and selling marijuana for the marijuana dispensaries. That's a government monopoly on growing and selling marijuana for members of Andrew Myers Arizona Dispensary Association.

The fact that MMP's initiative or proposition doesn't allow people to grow marijuana seems to support that view.

According to MPP's proposition you would have to get a license to grow marijuana. And get this the current medical marijuana dispensaries would be grandfather in with a license to sell marijuana.

Starting in the fall of 2017, the Arizona government would begin issuing licenses for four kinds of marijuana-related businesses - grow operations, kitchens, testing facilities and retail outlets. - Marijuana Policy Project

Yea, that's the members of Andrew Myers Arizona Dispensary Association.

If we are going to legalize marijuana in Arizona we should stop sending people to prison who grow marijuana!!!!

It's a waste of our tax dollars to sent people to prison for growing marijuana.

And last but not least the members of Andrew Myers Arizona Dispensary Association don't deserve to have a government monopoly on growing and selling marijuana. Anybody should be able to grow or sell marijuana once it is legalized.

MMP is using rigged polls & surveys???

Some of us think MPP is asking rigged questions on its surveys to generate bogus statistics to justify only legalizing small amounts of marijuana and to justify not allowing the people to grow marijuana.

As Mark Twain said

"Lies, damned lies, and statistics"

If you are going to do a survey on if people want to legalize marijuana you should ask the question

Do you favor legalizing SMALL amounts marijuana???
