![]() When I say MPP or Marijuana Policy Project, I mean the petition to legalize marijuana in Arizona which is being pushed by them. I think technically the call it something like "treat marijuana like alcohol" or "Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol". I don't know if legally MPP is behind it, but the public seems to think MPP is behind it. Today, Friday, January 15, 2016 just before 12:30 at the Tempe Public Library on Rural & Southern in Tempe a signature collector who I think works for MPP backed initiative threaten to beat me up for taking his photo. When I got to the Tempe Library today just before 12:30 there was a guy standing in the 10 foot by 10 foot "Free Speech" zone collecting signatures to legalize marijuana. After he asked me to sign his petition to legalize marijuana I asked him which group he was with.
As I was talking to him I noticed the 15% number on his petition which seems to say he was circulating a MPP backed petition. The AZfrm petitions have a 10% tax, while the MPP petitions have a 15% tax. And of course the RAD petitions don't have any tax. I don't know of any other petitions other then those 3. I talked to him a while more and told him that the MPP petitions don't really legalize marijuana, but create a monopoly for the 85 or so existing medical marijuana dispensaries, while the AZfrm petitions actually legalize marijuana. After those comments from me he still refused to tell me who he was circulating the petition for. I decided to take his photo and when I did he started telling me I couldn't take his photo. He even threaten to call the cops on me for taking his photo. I told him go ahead call the cops if you want.
I have heard stories that Kathy Inman is calling people in our group thugs and criminals. I have never seen anybody in our group behave like a thug or criminal. But this guy certainly behaved like a thug and a criminal when he threaten to beat me up for taking his photo. And if he works for the MPP backed group, they certainly have thugs and criminals working for them. I suspect there are also videos what happened which were shot by the cameras at the Tempe Library. I don't know if this is true or not but some people have said that this guy works for "Petition Partners". I think that "Petition Partners" is one of the businesses that is helping MPP collect signatures for their phoney baloney initiative to legalize marijuana in Arizona.

This is the AZfrm or Arizonans for Mindful Regulation petition to legalize marijuana. Let's compare it to this guys petition and see if it matches up.
I bet they don't!!! This is the AZfrm or Arizonans for Mindful Regulation petition to legalize marijuana. Let's compare it to this guys petition and see if it matches up. I bet they don't!!! Nope they don't. The last 2 paragraphs are the same, but those look like lines that are required on all petitions. But the 1st line of the 1st paragraph seems different.
