According to the ACLU, 50% off all the arrests every year in the worlds largest police state which is now called the United States of America are for victimless marijuana crimes.
According to US Bureau of Prison statistics, 51% of all the people in Federal prisons are there for victimless drug war crimes.
That number changes from year to year, but it's usually in the 50% range.
If we ended the "War on Drugs" we could fire 50% of the cops, and let the remaining cops hunt down real criminals like robbers and rapists.
