I haven't read the last version of the proposed law, but why on earth would they make having 7 marijuana seeds a felony???

What I have heard is that if you have 6 marijuana plants it's legal, and that if you have 7 marijuana plants it's a felony.

Then they go on to say that the definition of a marijuana plant is not given so in theory a marijuana seed could be defined as a marijuana plant.

And based on the how the cops are enforcing Prop 203 or Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act it's pretty easy to assume that the cops would arrest people who have 7 marijuana seeds and charge them with a felony for growing 1 plant over the limit.

But why???

If it's true that you can be arrested for 7 marijuana seeds why on earth did the folks at MPP allow it.

I suspect the reason is the folks at MPP want to allow the dispensaries to throw anybody in prison who doesn't buy their over priced $300 and ounce recreational marijuana.

And one way to do that is to allow the cops to arrest anyone who uses that Mexican brick marijuana.

And of course if you buy an ounce of that Mexican brick marijuana it almost certainly has 7 more seeds in it and the cops can arrest you for having "7 marijuana plants".

Yea, we hate the folks at the MPP or Marijuana Policy Project, but you have to admit that even if we think they are sadistic evil b*stards, they are smart business men.

If the phoney baloney MPP initiative to legalize marijuana passes it will give the current medical marijuana dispensaries a monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana.

And the 7 seed rule will give them a way to enforce their monopoly by throwing anybody in prison that doesn't support their lucrative monopoly and buys Mexican weed.

All of that is assuming that 7 marijuana seeds will be treated as 7 marijuana plants under the law.
