Kathy Inman's July 22 Cheba Hut Meeting
I think this was Kathy Inman's kick off party to recruit people to circulate petition's for MPP or Marijuana Policy Project's phoney baloney effort to legalize marijuana in Arizona.AZfmr or Arizonans For Mindful Regulation crashed to event to show the people that the MPP initiative really is a phoney baloney initiative to legalize marijuana and while it may be 1% about legalizing marijuana it's 99% about making the owners of the currently medical marijuana dispensaries millionaires by also giving them a govenrment monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana.
The initiative isn't full of felonies???
I told Mikel Weiser that I couldn't support the MPP initiative because it is full of felonies for violation.I am not sure exactly what he said but he said that is not true.
Everything I have heard from other people says the MPP or Marijuana Policy Project initiative is full of felonies.
I don't know who to believe not. I guess I should read the final copy of the MPP initiative for myself.
Perhaps Mikel Wieser is telling the truth. But personally I feel that I have been burned by MPP on Prop 203 which is Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act.
I have read Prop 203 at least 10 times and it seems like it is mostly a law designed to make the owners of the medical marijuana dispensaries rich while screwing patients that need marijuana with outrageously high prices.
It also limits the number of medical marijuana dispensaries to something like 127.
Personally I think that MPP f*cked up Prop 203 so badly they don't deserve to have another chance writing an initiative to legalize marijuana in Arizona again.
A Tucson Trip
Mike Weiser offered to take me to Tucson on Aug 8 to talk about RAD.That sounds like fun, but I am kind of leery of working with anyone involved in MPP.
Mikel Wieser said it would be with his role as part of NORML, not his role in MPP.
Still I am leary with about it. One of the reasons I created RAD was because I feel that MPP and NORML have sold out the marijuana community.
And of course the RAD initiative to legalize marijuana is what both NORML and MPP should be pushing. Not an initiative that seems to give a government monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana to 160 or less special interest groups. Which is what I feel the MPP initiative is.
Dave Inman, Kathy's Husband was there.
Dave Inman seemed very angry with me. He almost seem to be threatening me. Well I felt he was threatening me, even thought he didn't make any actual threats.He mentioned that he saw me every day and that he worked in the area.
He seemed to be angry that I posted a blurb from someone who said that Dave and Kathy are financially involved with a medical marijuana dispensary in Scottsdale.
I also posted with that blurb a statement that Kathy claimed that was not true. And that her son in law Andrew Myers worked at the dispensary but didn't have a financial interest in it. But Dave didn't seem to care about that.
Nor did he seem to care that in all my posts I didn't actually say the he and Kathy were financially involved with he dispensary, but that someone else claimed they were.
I did talk to some other people that night who said the original post was false and that Dave and Kathy are NOT financially involved with the dispensary.
So maybe Dave and Kathy are being honest and don't have a financial interest in the dispensary.
Either way I think since they are pushing the MPP initiative which many people think is a government welfare program for the medical marijuana dispensaries, they should disclose any interests they have in medical marijuana dispensaries.
I didn't mention to Dave that I am pretty p*ssed off at him and Kathy for making posts calling me a narc.
For the record I am not a narc, snitch or cop and never have been one.
Dave & Kathy Inman are not financially involved with a dispsenary
As I said before I talked to some people who said that the post about Dave Inman and Kathy Inman being financially involved with a Scottsdale medical marijuana dispensary is false.They did say that Andrew Myers who is their son in law worked for the Scottsdale dispensary.
I have not idea of what is true or false and am just repeating what I hear.

The folks at AZfrm gave me 5 petitions to circulate. I will be circulating them with my RAD petitions.I didn't hear Kathy talk.
I didn't get to hear Kathy Inman talk because I stepped out.MPP want's to stop arresting people for marijuana crimes?
I did here the guy in this photo talk and I was surprised to hear him say that MPP want's to stop arresting people for marijuana related crimes.I was kind of surprised he said that because I thought the MPP initiative was full of felonies to jail anybody that cuts into the lucrative monopoly the initiative gives to the marijuana dispensaries.
Maybe the guy was telling there truth and there are not any felony charges in the MPP initiative as Mike Weisser or Mikel Wiesser says.
I guess I will just have to take time to sit down and read thru all 20 or 40 pages of the initiative.
Somebody has got to be lying about all those felonies.
The folks at AZfrm say the MPP initiative is full of felonies and they removed most of them and replaced them with petty misdemeanors that have a $300 fine.
I don't know who is lying.
On the other hand maybe they are not lying.
I have seen stuff on the web about how allegedly the folks say there are no criminal charges associated with the MPP initiative as long as you obey the law.
Maybe that's what they are saying. If you don't break the MPP law you won't get slapped with felony charges.
