Letter

Dear Sirs:

I would love to attend the event at your church which is hosted by Kathy Inman's MomForce AZ where Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be talking.

I think the event will be this Saturday, October 10 from 1pm to 4 pm and the subject will be on medical marijuana.

And the event will be held at your church which is at:

All Saints of the Desert Episcopal Church
9502 W Hutton Dr
Sun City, AZ

There are a lot of rumors going on and I don't know what is true or false.

Can you answer my questions about these rumors?

You might know that there are three groups circulating petitions to legalize marijuana in Arizona.

I believe Kathy Inmam's group MomForce AZ supports the MPP or Marijuana Policy Project initiative.

The MPP group was behind Prop 203 which is Arizona's Medical Marijuana Act. And oddly Kathy Inman's son in law, Andrew Myers was allegedly the manager of the group that wrote Prop 203.

Many people are very unhappy with both Prop 203 and the proposed MPP initiative to legalize marijuana in Arizona.

They seem to think both Prop 203 and the proposed MPP initiative are not about ending the evil, draconian war on marijuana, but rather to make millionaires out of the owners of the 80+ medical marijuana dispensaries who will get a government monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana in Arizona if the MPP initiative passes. At most the MPP initiative will allow 160 stores to sell recreational marijuana. And the existing 80+ medical marijuana dispensaries will each get one of those stores if what I heard is correct.

Currently medical marijuana is selling for around $300 an ounce at the medical marijuana dispensaries.

If the MPP initiative passes we suspect recreational marijuana will also be selling for $300 and ounce at the 160 stores which get a government monopoly on growing and selling recreational marijuana.

The other groups are the Arizonans for Mindful Regulation or AZfrm and RAD or Relegalize All Drugs.

The initiate from Arizonans for Mindful Regulation will allow up to 1,600 recreational marijuana stores if passed.

I suspect if the AZfrm initiative is passed the price of medical marijuana and recreational marijuana will drop from the current $300 an ounce price or $4,800 a pound price to $2 or $3 dollars a POUND, not $4,800 a pound.

The initiate from RAD or Relegalize All Drugs will allow an unlimited number of recreational marijuana stores. RAD will treat marijuana just the same as tomatoes or potatoes when it is legalized.

I suspect if the RAD initiative is passed the price of medical marijuana and recreational marijuana will also drop from the current $300 an ounce price or $4,800 a pound price to $2 or $3 dollars a POUND, not $4,800 a pound.

Also the MPP initiate continues to have numerous felony charges for victimless marijuana crimes. They are not adding new felony charges (other then one), but keeping the existing felony charges on the books for many marijuana related crimes. That's what I understand from the summaries which I have read.

A lot of people think MPP left in all the felony charges dealing with marijuana not to protect Arizona's from marijuana, but so they can throw anybody in prison that cuts into their lucrative monopoly on recreational and medical marijuana, which currently sells for $4,800 a pound or $300 an ounce.

Under the RAD initiative all criminals laws dealing with marijuana will be repealed.

Under the AZfrm initiative almost all the criminal charges associated with marijuana will be a petty misdemeanor with a $300 fine.

The rumor I have heard is that anybody that is supports the AZfrm initiative or the RAD initiative will be banned from the event?

Is that true?

I have also heard that anybody that isn't 55 years or older will also be banned from the event.

Is that true?

Are people under 55 years old allowed to attend the event?

On your churches web site it says all ages are welcome. Is that also true about this event?

Thanks

People call or email them!!!!

Maybe you folks can call or email the church and ask if people are REALLY banned from the Sheriff Joe event.

Or are those people who are saying supporters of RAD and AZfrm are banned from the event just lying.

Also ask them if only people 55 and older are allowed at the event.

The church web page says ALL ages are welcome at the CHURCH. I don't know if that includes the event.

I wonder if they are lying about that only 55 or over part? On their web page it says this
http://desertsaints.azdiocese.org/

We welcome everyone equally and enthusiastically. Whatever your religious background, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or economic status, we welcome you.

Here are the email addresses of the people that run the church.

Maybe some of you can email them and ask them who is allowed at the event and who isn't
